Ignatian Prayer Deep Dive
A 3-Week Live Online Course
Mondays, 14-28 June, 7:30pm ET | Tuesdays, 13-27 July, 7:30pm ET
Most of us grow up with a narrow understanding of prayer. This summer, take a deep dive into Ignatian prayer. In his Spiritual Exercises, St. Ignatius presents several methods of prayer that call us to a real encounter with God, using our mind, imagination, and heart. This course will introduce to you new ways of praying with scripture and your life. Discover how God seeks to meet you right where you are.
- Learn about Ignatian meditation, Ignatian contemplation, and the Examen.
- Be led in a guided meditation in the week’s Ignatian prayer practice.
- Discover new ways to enrich your prayer life.
This course draws primarily upon the prayer methods St. Ignatius’ presents in his Spiritual Exercises. No books are required. Handouts and slides will be shared with you each week.
Each week's class builds upon the previous. If you miss a class a recording of the live session will be made available to registrants to catch up.
