Advent is Our Story
A Virtual Evening of Reflection
Tuesday, 8 December 2020 – 7:00-8:30pm ET
Advent is a season of hope and promise. Join Andy Otto for an evening of reflection on how we share in the story of Mary and Joseph as they prepared to welcome the Saviour into their hearts. Discover a fresh appreciation for the gift of Emmanuel—God with us—as we prepare ourselves for Christmas.
You will be invited to:
- notice the patterns of the Advent story in our collective human life
- share in Mary’s praise of God’s goodness
- depart in a message of hope for your life
There will be two live talks at 7:00pm and 8:00pm ET (optional sharing takes place after the final talk).
Between talks you are invited to spend time in silence and prayer. You will be provided with suggestions for prayer.
- Guidance on how to make your home a space apt for a retreat
- Two live talks
- Handouts with guided prayer prompts
- Music for meditation
- Scripture suggestions
- An opportunity for sharing of graces at the end of the retreat
- A closing Examen
