Pausing: Rediscovering Sabbath

A Virtual Day Retreat

Saturday, 4 September 2021 – 9:30am-3:00pm ET

(This retreat has been cancelled)

Many of us are rediscovering the wisdom of sabbath in a world that prizes busyness and productivity over rest and renewal. You are invited to drink the “living water” of sabbath living and re-fill your cup! Sabbath is more than just going to church. Allow your heart and soul room to exhale with this day of prayer and rest.

This day of prayer will invite you to:

    • fill your well with life-giving things
    • slow down your busyness
    • develop helpful boundaries that foster sabbath moments
    • learn how to become a contemplative in action

    Schedule

You are invited to set aside much of the day to fully engage in this spiritual retreat. There will be three live talks at 9:30am, 11:30am, and 2:00pm ET (optional sharing takes place after the final talk).

Between talks you are invited to spend time in silence and prayer. You will be provided with suggestions on how to make your home a sacred space for this time of retreat.
